Class Amphibia
 Amphibia - Caecilians (apodans) | The moist, glandular skin of the organisms in the Class Amphibia lack scales and claws. Their skin is involved in respiration. These animals take advantage of both the aquatic and terrestrial habitat. They are carnivorous with the exception of larval frogs. Many species of this class secrete noxious or poisonous substances to protect them from their predators. These organisms are generalists - they will eat anything that can be captures and injested. These animals lay their eggs in water. |
