Class Mammalia

Class Mammalia

Each of these warm-blooded mammals possesses a vertebrae, an internal skepleton, and a four-chambered heart. Bodies are covered with hair or fur. The skin contains sweat, scent, sebaceous oil, and mammary glands. The sweat glants help cool the animals, allowing them to control the temperature of their bodies. Mammary glands in females secrete milk, which nourishes the offspring when born. These organisms are characterized by the females' placental uterus, where the offispring receives all its nourishment. Mammals show more mternal care to the offspring compared to all other organisms in different classes. Mammals have only one set of replacement teeth.
