Class Myxini
 | More commonly known as "Hagfishes," organisms belonging to the Class Myxini have skulls made of cartilage. Although they lack jaws and vertebrae, these organisms acquire small brains, eyes, and ears. They swim in a snakelike fashion using their segmental muscles. Lastly, they have nasal openings that connect with their pharynx. |
